On October 19 2011, my dear wife Riet has died. She was only 37 years old. She was beautiful and I miss her deeply. We have three children together.
A few months before she died, I dedicated a piano tune that I had come up with to her. After her death, I recorded it hastily for the funeral service. Of course, the meaning of the tune and the way I played it changed significantly under the circumstances.
